WHY LIAM STARTED YCGS
A fairer conversation. A greater impact.
Liam Deacy is the founder of YCGS. After years of organising charity events and fundraising for good causes, he kept seeing the same problem: charities were being quoted corporate speaking rates before the speaker or entertainer had even heard what the event was for.
Liam also heard a very different perspective from speakers and entertainers: had they understood the cause, the audience and the impact the event hoped to make, they would often have approached the opportunity differently. He started YCGS to bring those two sides into the same conversation.
The speaker or entertainer gets paid. The audience gets a great event. The organisation maximises the impact of the money it raises. Everybody wins.
